The Polar Express

While celebrating the holidays, children gathered with their parents to view The Poplar Express on the big screen at Union University.  A surprise visit by Miss Tennessee 2008 - was included, as well.  The children left with a twinkle in their eyes (parents, too),  and a gift bag  filled with the train ticket, a candy cane, a cup of soon-to-make hot chocolate, and a red- ribboned bell that tingled..."I BELIEVE!"

Those supporting the event, left behind almost $1500 to support the funding of the Imagination Library in Madison County, Tennessee.  Co-sponsors of the event  included: Imagination Library-Madison County, Tennessee, Union University, West Tennessee Association for Childhood Education International,  Southwest Family Resource and Referral  and  Waldrop & Hall, P.A.

A special thanks to those who supported this event. We look forward to the next trip on...The Polar Express.
