Madison-County Imagination Library
November 18, 2008

Llama Llama Red Pajama is my very favorite book,” responded one of the young party goers who attended the 3rd year celebration for the Madison-County Imagination Library.

“I can read it too,” she replied, with no hesitation.

The Jackson-Madison County Imagination Library celebrated 3 years of sharing books with children throughout the county on Tuesday, November 18, 2008. The celebration included party time at the Jackson-Madison County Library. Children from across the county arrived just in time to hear Jackson City Mayor Larry Gist read 'Llama Llama Red Pajama' and Madison County Mayor Jimmy Harris read 'The Little Engine That Could'. In addition, Elizabeth Parnell, Children’s Librarian led the energetic youngsters in a variety of songs and dances. The children joined together in small groups for Face Painting, Animal Ballooning and Pin the Bookmark on the Book. The birthday was compete with decorative, iced-over cookies and yummy Kool-Aid.

A special THANKS to Elizabeth Parnell for planning the affair and to the Madison-County Imagination Library Executive Board for their support.
